This is a really lovely rug, very nice under foot. It brightens up any room, I have it in my living room but would also suit a bedroom. Doesn't shed lots of fibres like some other types of rug. I don't find it slips too much on my wooden floor but if you wanted to you can buy products specifically to put under rugs to prevent this very cheaply. Only wish I had bought one slightly bigger! - 21/08/2008
